Goes together with The Thinking Tyrant. It's Vimes, yay! But I suppose you've noticed that already.

Of course. Very nice, but one criticism? He looks a bit feminine and clownlike. But the shading's great.

I like the idea, but I suggest digging up some old man pictures and looking at wrinklature- Vimes is slightly more wrinkly than he would care for. And while I horribly bilittle your wonderful drawing, the face is a bit long. But again, these are just minor things I'd point out of this lovely framed piece.
Clownlike? Eeheeheehee. *slaps some paint on his face* Now that's an idea. :D

I know, I know, my wrinkles aren't any good :D I may add that this was drawn after a night in the pub, at around midnight. I couldn't be too bothered, and I needed something that made the cleverness of the thinking tyrant seem valid :XD:

Oh Lord *howls at sky "What have I done?!?"*. I think it was the crosses over the eye that did it.

VIMES: *growls* I'll make someone pay for this..!!!
ME: *hands him a pair of overlarge shoes* Now don't be such a big meany!

Oh! Then this is damn impressive. Once I got home from the pub and woke up the next morning with badly drawn furry porn on my sketchpad. I still insist someone snuck in and drew it.
JesIdres already pointed out the wrinkle issue. I'm missing texture, like in the Thinking Tyrant one. But then again, it's easier to do with a beard. ;) It could be a slightly younger Vimes, but then the scar wouldn't fit. Anyway, you know that.
Still, this portrait has an amazingly fascinating look.

Will you revise it? Pleasepleasepleeeaaaase..... it's so beautiful.
